The ploong is an ethnic musical instrument of the Mru people that inhabit the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh and also in Burma. This mouth organ is made from the gourds and bamboos and it varies in sizes. The largest ploong that has existed has eight long pipes and sounds like the bagpipe.
